What a huge day! Yesterday Mommy had a regular OB appt, or so we thought. It turned into a trip to the hospital and the world's fastest, easiest, and pretty painfree labor and delivery of two little boys.
August ("Gus") Jack was born first at 12:39am. Weighting 5lbs13oz. Arthur ("Archie") Joseph was born 12 minutes later weighing 6lbs3oz. Not bad for 34 weeks and 6 days.
They've both been in the regular nursery or with their tired parents all day. We're hoping they might even go home with us in a few days.

Like babies like Daddy.
So after a night's "Sleep" it was time for Bea to meet her brothers. Bea brought them balloons.
Hi Babies!
Bea wanted to hug them.
Don't get me wrong...Bea also wanted to watch Elmo on our iPhones, play with Caillou and run around the halls in the hospital. So she wasn't all about the babies. But the first meeting was pretty succcessful. Still not sure Bea gets how permanent this is, but she did a good job today.
congrats guys!! there are pictures of bea and the boys on my door at school for my floormates to see. (: celebrating with you guys from afar!! sending hugs and love! <3
ReplyDeleteWow!!!!

Lucky me, there is another blog to look forward to viewing each day.
BTW
ReplyDeleteIt only took me 5 tries to prove that I was not a robot.
Maybe that is why I don't comment as often as I want!!
these are such great photos!! i loved the video of be saying, "mommy, baby!"--like it was a total surprise to you! haha
ReplyDeletei keep saying it, but i'm just so happy for all of you! i can't even describe the joys that await you! until they go to college, that is, but you don't have to think about that just yet!
oops! i meant "bea" of course--not "be"
